CNL COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE COMPLETES 16,396 SQUARE FEET OF NEW OFFICE LEASES AT AVENTURA OPTIMA PLAZA

MIAMI, Fla. (Nov. 11, 2015) – CNL Commercial Real Estate announces today that it has finalized three new leases in the West Building at Aventura Optima Plaza, bringing the overall occupancy of the building to 94 percent. Randy Olen and Sareska Alonso of CNL Commercial Real Estate represented the Landlord in these transactions, which account for approximately 16,396 square feet of office space.

LP3 Network Inc., a Global Leader in Continuing Healthcare Education with a primary focus in Pharmacy Compounding training, will be occupying the third floor. Additionally, SFX-LIC Operating LLC, represented by Adriana Cabanas of The K Company, has leased most of the second floor and Advanced Neuroscience and Pain Institute, LLC, represented by Michael Streur with Coastal Properties of South Florida, will occupy 2,691square feet on the ground floor.

Tenants enjoy ample covered parking, 24-hour manned security, on-site management and a landscaped rooftop jogging trail and gym, exclusively for building tenants. The building is located across the street from The Village at Gulfstream Park and is in close proximity to Whole Foods, Aventura Hospital and the Aventura Mall.

With these three leases, the building has leased a combined 27,800 square feet year to date, leaving only three spaces available. The remaining spaces range in size between 1,198 square feet and 3,168 square feet.

Artista mexicano devela murales monumentales en Florida

El pintor mexicano  develó hoy dos murales monumentales en el sur de Florida, Estados Unidos, que mezclan el colorido y las tradiciones de Oaxaca con la flora y la fauna de Florida.

Las obras fueron inauguradas con la presencia del cónsul general de México en Miami, José Antonio Zabalgoitia, y la alcaldesa de la ciudad de Aventura, Enid Weisman.

Las obras adornan el edificio “Aventura Optima Plaza”, al norte de Miami, y que fue construido por el arquitecto mexicano Ariel Bromberg.

“El edificio es un proyecto de mexicanos que a la vez tiene la obra artística que conecta lo oaxaqueño con Miami”, destacó Zabalgoitia.

La alcaldesa Weisman calificó la obra de “espectacular” y dijo que planea que los niños y las niñas en edad escolar visiten esta propuesta a partir del año próximo.

Los murales se denominan “Agua viva, tierra eterna” y “Árbol mitológico” y están elaboradas en cerámica de alta temperatura cocidas a mil 360 grados.

Su peso aproximado es de tres toneladas que fueron traídas en pequeños mosaicos de barro desde el estudio del artista en Oaxaca a Miami, y su proceso de elaboración tuvo una duración de tres años al iniciarse con los bocetos en Los Everglades, la reserva ecológica del sur de Florida.

“Tener dos murales fuera de mi país es algo muy importante y ha sido un reto traer estas dos piezas hasta aquí”, señaló a Notimex Rosendo Pérez Pinacho, artista plástico originario de Candelaria Loxicha Pochutla, Oaxaca.

“En ambas piezas está representada Florida con sus pantanos, manglares y cocodrilos en una fusión con la flora, fauna y tradición típica en la zona costera de Oaxaca”, dijo el creador de 43 años.

“Agua viva, tierra eterna”, de seis por seis metros, es un pueblo reflejado en el agua con canoas de madera (cayucos) que viajan, con un árbol central y cocodrilos, así como los elementos de constelaciones que tradicionalmente utiliza el artista.

Mientras que “Árbol mitológico” de siete metros de altura por 1.80, tiene su base en el “pochote”, un árbol que dentro de la tradición zapoteca tiene muchos aspectos de la vida, las ramas representan el cosmos y sus raíces el inframundo, explicó el artista.

“Ambos murales están trabajados en colores azules y ocres de tierra muy parecidos al cielo y a la tierra de Oaxaca y Florida”, señaló.

Esta es la primera obra que Pérez Pinacho deja en el extranjero y la primera en cerámica de un mexicano en Florida.

De igual manera parte de su trabajo se encuentra en el Palacio Municipal de San Pablo Mauiltianguis, Oaxaca, en donde en 2001 creó el mural llamado “Creencias y tradiciones”.

A partir de la inauguración se exhibe una muestra de 18 pinturas representativas de la obra del maestro en el vestíbulo del edificio.

In a ceremony held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Aventura Arts and Cultural Center, Aventura Optima Plaza received a 2015 Go Green Recognition Award.  The Award was presented by the City of Aventura Mayor Enid Weisman and recognizes the building’s efforts with regards to preserving, protecting and sustaining the environment.  Randy Olen, Principal at CNL Commercial Real Estate and leasing agent for the property, received the award on ownership’s behalf.  Congratulations to our entire Aventura Optima team including ownership group Optima International LLC and building management Akko-Group for an excellent job designing, constructing and operating this LEED Platinum office building in an eco-friendly manner.

Aventura Optima Plaza is Awarded Most Outstanding LEED Core and Shell Project
